Lyme Disease
Lyme disease is most commonly transmitted through the bite of a tick. Dogs cannot pass Lyme disease to humans, but the tick can. Preventing Lyme disease is a challenge, especially for people who live in rural areas. It’s best to try to prevent ticks from biting your puppy. Special products are available for your puppy to protect them from disease carrying ticks; you can purchase these products by calling us at 972-772-7777. Please check your puppy for ticks after walks in the park or woods and avoid fields and grassy areas.
