Cats are know n for many things, but one of the things they are most renowned for is their sense of curiosity. In fact, there’s now a day specifically geared to Fluffy ‘s inquisitiveness. January 22nd is Answer Your Cat’s Questions Day! Here, a Rockwall, TX vet lists some things we suspect our feline pals may be most intrigued by.
It’s probably safe to say that if you have a kitty, there’s at least one or two cat toys under your sofa. Fluffy, however, isn’t quite as sure about where her playthings went.
Is your kitty fascinated by that little spot of light from a laser pointer? Does Fluffy go into full predator mode when she spots it? Your cat may never find out what her elusive prey is, or how to catch it, but she will have fun trying.
Kitties are always much healthier—and therefore happier—with proper health care. However, most of them really don’t see it that way. After the dreaded car ride, it isn’t uncommon for our feline patients to look a bit confused as to where they are and what’s going on. It’s for your own good, Fluffy!
Dogs and cats are both wonderful pets, and they can certainly bond to one another. However, they don’t speak the same language. Fluffy actually finds her canine roommate very ‘purrplexing.’ After all, Fido doesn’t use a litterbox, enjoys car rides, and will eat pretty much anything!
Fluffy is very tired, and she has a habit of rotating from spot to spot for her 43 daily naps. At some point, you’ll find your pet peacefully snoozing on something that isn’t a cat bed, and you’ll have to pluck her off of it and put her somewhere else. (Your furball will of course respond by giving you an adorable confused look.)
Cats love finding warm spots to sleep, so it’s no surprise that they can often be found basking in sunbeams. Fluffy may want to know why her favorite sunny spot isn’t available 24/7.
That answers Fluffy’s questions, but what about yours? If you have any questions about your cat’s health or care, contact us, your Rockwall, TX veterinary clinic, today!
