Dear Future Colleague,

Welcome to your new and exciting career as a Veterinarian. This is the time when you will put theory into practice as you embark on a truly life changing transitionary journey… and why you should seek out professional environments where you will be continually challenged and tested while being valued and mentored throughout your Externship.

During this time it’s normal to harbor feelings of self-doubt, clinical inadequacy, and even incompetency. We remember how difficult the transition from student to practitioner can be! That’s why our team of highly experienced Veterinarians and professional staff are fully committed to providing you with high-quality companion animal mentorship in a professional and friendly environment.

During your Externship, if there is a particular area of need or deficiency that you would like to address, our Veterinarians and staff will be more than happy to help you improve that area of need, whether it’s medicine, surgery, radiology, or anything else. We just want to provide you with the support and guidance you deserve during your Externship, while making your experience fun and enjoyable with our lighthearted culture.

Pet Doctor is located in the heart of Rockwall, on the shores of beautiful Lake Ray Hubbard in a highly desirable area of Texas. Rockwall offers an abundance of outdoor activities, water sports, shopping, restaurants, concerts, and other big city amenities while maintaining that small-town close-knit feeling.
