September is Happy Cat Month
Of course, Fluffy can be a bit purrplexing at times. It isn’t always easy to tell if your feline friend is happy, or slowly plotting to kill you. A local Rockwall, TX vet lists a few ‘pawsitive’ signs to look for in this article.
One of Fluffy’s more unusual quirks is definitely the fact that she enjoys attacking things. Playfulness is always a good sign, especially in younger kitties. Fluffy may be dead serious when she is kick-scratcing that catnip mouse, but she’s also having fun.
It’s easy to joke about how cold and aloof cats are, but they really are very emotional. Fluffy forms very strong bonds with her humans! If your pet likes to cuddle up with you, it’s a pretty strong indication that you’ve been taking good care of her. Of course, kitties also have some rathe rcurious ways of showing affection. Slow blinks, love bites, leg rubs, and, of course, the rear view we’re all familiar with.
Our feline friends are very good at getting us to pamper them … and they are clearly proud of themselves for this. Don’t be surprised if you notice your pet looking at you with a smug, self-satisfied look.
Proper veterinary care is a crucial part of your pet’s care regimen. If Fluffy is getting great marks at the vet, then it’s a strong indication that your kitty is doing pretty well. After all, healthy cats are happy cats!
Another thing happy cats like to do? Run out at their humans. Fluffy may hide behind the couch or a potted plant, and then dash out at you as you walk past.
We usually associate this classic pet game with Fido, but many kitties also bring things back to their humans. If Fluffy tends to return toys that you tossed, you probably have a happy kitty on yur hands … or on your lap.
